Due to Coronavirus Pandemic Wimbledon 2020 Canceled

Since 2nd World War first time, Wimbledon 2020 Tennis tournament has been cancelled due to coronavirus outbreak. The tournament scheduled for 29 June to 12 July. 

The whole lawn season was cancelled and there is no tennis tournament was played worldwide till 13 July 2020.

Wimbledon is the most recent and third major Grand Slam event which was cancelled. The Tokyo Olympic and Euro 2020 event delayed for a year.

Wimbledon Tennis tournament cancelled after the French open postponement which will be played in May it rescheduled to 20 September-4 October 2020

All England Lawn Tennis Club chairman Ian Hewitt said we cannot take any risk so we decide to cancel the Wimbledon Championship 2020 with the utmost consideration for the public health and well-being of all who come together to watch Wimbledon and has made it the world most popular tournament.

We are more concerned that the holding of the championship as previously it was interrupted by the world wars, however, after reviewing all situations which happened due to coronavirus pandemic, on the basis of that we decide to cancel the championships so rather focus on how we can utilize the broadness of Wimbledon's assets to help those in our neighbourhood communities and outside.

Our contemplations are with everyone who has been influenced by these uncommon situations.
