All England Lawn Tennis Club chairman Ian Hewitt said we cannot take any risk so we decide to cancel the Wimbledon Championship 2020 with the utmost consideration for the public health and well-being of all who come together to watch Wimbledon and has made it the world most popular tournament.

We are more concerned that the holding of the championship as previously it was interrupted by the world wars, however, after reviewing all situations which happened due to coronavirus pandemic, on the basis of that we decide to cancel the championships so rather focus on how we can utilize the broadness of Wimbledon's assets to help those in our neighbourhood communities and outside.
