The J. Safra Sarasin Swiss Open Gstaad 2019 is a men’s tennis event known as 2019 Swiss Open Gstaad. The Swiss Open Tennis is a 52nd edition and part of the ATP World Tour 250 Series.

The J. Safra Sarasin Open is the only clay court competition in Switzerland, captivating its observers and rivals alike for over 100 years. The tournament games were held in the Roy Emerson Arena, named after the 5-times record victor from Australia, which seating capacity to 4,500 onlookers. In 1915 the 1stedition of the event was held at the Gstaad Palace Hotel, which was called as the Royal Hotel, Winter & Gstaad Palace. It was planned in partnership with the Lawn Tennis Club (LTC) Gstaad. The Swiss Open Gstaad was played on mud courts and was won by Victor de Coubasch.
